Sage Manufacturing is a very powerful solution for all manufacturing industries
that completely integrates with Sage 50 and Sage 200 accounts.
It allows you to plan production with ease and creates recommendations of what
you need to buy and what you need to make based on demand from Sales Orders, Re-Order levels,
Sales Forecasts, Estimates and any Make to Stock Items. You can then
automatically raise the relevant Purchase Orders and Works Orders to fulfill the
demand.
It has a number of tools and features including Trial Kitting, Maximum
Build Calculator, Multi Location, Multiple Supplier and unlimited Bill of
Materials Management, Traceability Management not to mention complete integration
with Sage Accounts plus many more features.

Sage 50 Manufacturing customers can choose from several variants of Sage
Manufacturing depending on how much functionality required:

Sage Bill of Materials (BOM)
Sage Bill of Materials allows you to extend your existing Sage 50 product
file to include unlimited levels, multiple suppliers and tools including
Trial Kitting and Maximum Build.

Sage Batch Controller
Includes Sage Bill of Materials but adds the Planning and Traceability modules. Ideal
for producing repeated items.
The Planning module allows you to read demand from Sales Orders, Sales
Forecasts and Make to Stock items and raises recommendations of what to buy
and make in order for you to meet your demand on time.
Automatically raise Works Orders, and print picking lists, job / route cards
for the warehouse / shop floor.The Traceability module keeps track of stock,
from the moment it comes in to when it goes out the door. Components used to
make items can be tracked to the Works Order, Sales and Purchase order.

Sage Job Controller
Includes Sage Bill of Materials and adds the Estimating and Planning modules.
This variant is ideal for one-off and non repetitive production.
The Estimating tool allows you to create timely and accurate quotations.
Also with tools such as the fast estimate entry screen, designed for fast
quotation creation, you have the ability to cost jobs fast - even while on
the phone to the customer.
The Planning module will also read these estimates when planning production
and raising recommendations.

Sage Manufacturing Controller
The full blown manufacturing solution including Bill of Materials, Batch
Controller and Job Controller functionality.
This gives the flexibility of both repeat and one-off production planning.
You also get the Graphical Planner, allowing you to adjust your planning
schedule using the graphical user interface.
